About The Role

Our Middle East operations have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our office in Doha, Qatar.

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their field, constantly learning and bringing innovative ideas to life. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background with the ability to:

• Design low-voltage (LV) systems, including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and cable management in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Design and review renewable energy systems such as solar PV systems, covering panel layout, inverter configuration, string sizing, and integration with the main electrical network if required.
• Have a basic understanding of data center design principles, including power distribution, redundancy concepts, cooling considerations, and typical layout requirements.
• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit analysis, motor starting, transient analysis, protection coordination, harmonic analysis, arc flash studies, and equipment sizing.
• Utilize engineering software such as ETAP, Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux Evo, Relux, AGi32, StrikeRisk, PVsyst, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Collaborate with the electrical and multidisciplinary teams during the concept, schematic, and detailed design stages of the project.
• Prepare infrastructure plans for low voltage (LV), and extra-low voltage (ELV) networks.
• Possess general knowledge of extra-low voltage (ELV) systems, including data and voice networks, fire alarms, public address systems, access control, intrusion alarms, IPTV, and intercom systems.
• Be a Registered Engineer (or in the process of registration) with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) in Qatar.
