Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and talented Construction Director (Infrastructure) to join its team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Plan, direct, supervise, and control all technical, commercial, financial, and administrative aspects of the project.
- Define program requirements and ensure all deliverables meet established standards.
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of key project plans, including the Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, and QA/QC Plan.
- Assign responsibilities to key team members based on their qualifications and strengths.
- Manage scope changes and negotiate with clients and subcontractors.
- Support business development activities to secure additional work.
- Represent the company in meetings with regulatory authorities and public stakeholders.
- Ensure all project commitments and instructions are effectively executed.
- Prepare and distribute project summaries to the team.
- Contribute to staff performance reviews and development plans.
- Coordinate with internal departments to mobilize resources and build effective project teams.
- Work with managers and technical leads to develop project budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
- Identify risks such as delays or cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee site-related functions, including labor relations, procurement, and payroll where applicable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date change orders.
- Promote quality and excellence through adherence to QA processes.
- Monitor progress, report on key milestones, and highlight risks impacting cost or schedule.
- Act as the primary company representative with clients and subcontractors.
- Lead weekly project meetings to review progress and track action items.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field.
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience, including strong project and construction management expertise on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles, such as Principal Project Manager.
- Extensive background in operations management, including personnel and facilities oversight.
