About The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the generation and execution of a sales plan of charter flights for Qatar Airways Cargo Network. Lead and coordinate activities involving effective sales strategies for new markets, development of existing markets. Actively sell and develop full and part charter worldwide.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Customer Relations Management â–ª Increase Customer base
- Proactively build relationships with charter customers and diversify the customer portfolio for Qatar Airways Cargo.
- Manage accounts and key customers, organize Periodic meetings with key decision makers.
- Collaborate with pricing and revenue management teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Proactively pursue with Cargo Corporate planning for the sourcing and maximum utilization of aircraft availability.
- Prepare a business and marketing plan to maximize revenue opportunities for QR.
- Effective liaison with internal and external stake holders for the charter execution
- Develop internal team processes and checks
- Lead strategic projects aimed at improving cargo charter sales processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including revenue forecasts, pipeline updates, and market analysis
- Resolve any operational issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth areas.
Qualifications About You
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6 years of related experience
- Air Cargo Pricing and sales experience
- Experience within a managerial or supervisory role in airline or freighter forwarding
- Strong negotiation & interpersonal skills
- Sales planning and customer experience knowledge
