The Director of Data & Performance will build and lead Snoonu’s Data & Performance function to deliver trusted insights, actionable performance metrics, and data-driven decision-making that improve growth, efficiency, and customer experience across all verticals.

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On

  • Strategy & Operating Model: Define the company-wide data and performance strategy, organizational design, and federated operating model. Establish a Data & Performance Council with C-level stakeholders.
  • BI & Performance Platform: Own the architecture, reliability, and cost efficiency of the analytics stack. Ensure SLAs for freshness, quality, and accessibility of data.
  • Metrics & Governance: Create a single source of truth. Publish a metrics catalogue, naming conventions, and data quality rules to standardize performance reporting.
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics: Deliver product, commercial, and operational analytics for acquisition, activation, retention, pricing, catalogue quality, and overall company performance.
  • Experimentation & Insights: Institutionalize A/B testing and quasi-experimental methods. Define guardrails, sample-size rules, and reporting standards to measure marketing and operational initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Establish and manage a Performance team responsible for company-wide KPI tracking, executive dashboards, and performance review mechanisms.
  • People & Culture: Hire and mentor a high-calibre BI and performance team. Set up career ladders and rituals for code review, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Compliance & Security: Partner with Legal and Security to meet privacy and regulatory obligations.
  • Executive Communication: Translate data insights into business impact and strategic recommendations. Present roadmaps and results to the leadership team and board.

🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring

  • 8 to 10 years in data, business intelligence, or performance management, with 5 or more years leading multi-disciplinary BI and analytics teams.
  • Proven success in delivering a modern BI and analytics platform that influences core KPIs and executive decisions.
  • Strong product analytics and experimentation expertise, comfortable with attribution, incrementality, and causal inference.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across Product, Growth, Operations, and Finance.

✨ Bonus Points If You Have

  • Marketplace, logistics, or food-tech experience is a plus.
  • Gulf experience and Arabic are nice to have.
