This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business educator to play a key role in the delivery and development of the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP), specifically within the Pearson BTEC Business pathway. The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening the quality and credibility of our career-related provision, supporting students in developing applied business knowledge, transferable skills, and workplace readiness.

  • Support students in achieving academic success while developing professional and enterprise skills
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and quality assurance of the IBCP programme

The Role We seek an individual to join as a Teacher of IBCP BTEC Business, where the focus will be:

  • Delivering engaging and applied Business lessons in line with Pearson BTEC requirements
  • Designing and implementing curriculum units aligned with assessment criteria and quality assurance standards
  • Preparing students for internal and external assessments, ensuring accuracy, fairness and consistency
  • Maintaining organised assessment records to support internal verification and external audit processes
  • Supporting student wellbeing, pastoral care and Form Tutor responsibilities where required
  • Contributing to enrichment activities, enterprise initiatives and wider school events
  • Engaging fully in Pearson training, standardisation and programme review processes

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics or a closely related field
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Business at secondary or post-16 level
  • Understanding of Pearson BTEC programme delivery and assessment (or willingness to undertake required training)
  • Strong organisational, communication and classroom management skills
  • The ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents and external verifiers

Experience within an international school setting is advantageous.
