About The Role:

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as a Replenishment Assistant who receives stock from Warehouse and Sub stores and arranges the stock in various store locations based on sell-out so that there is never a stock out situation in the shelves.

Operations:

• Perform stocking of merchandise on the racks in QDFC stores in order to maximise the utilisation of the available space.
• Ensure shelves are always full by having a basic understanding of demand and supply mechanics of Retail.
• Stack and pick the merchandise according to expiry dates to ensure proper stock rotation on a FIFO basis.
• Provide customer service as and when required; assist in any other section of the shop which may be needed under pressure.
• Handle all goods with utmost care to ensure no damage occurs.
• Facilitate cleanliness of all the operational area and equipment in the stores.
• Help ensure proper housekeeping and visual merchandising standards are always maintained.
• Report all incidents to the Merchandising Officer on a timely manner.
• Follow all guidelines in relation to HIA Health and Safety and immediately report any accidents or breaches.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications About you:

Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills, English communication skills with Entry level roles – no prior job-related work experience

Essential:

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Ability to lift / move / manoeuvre goods up to 165lbs
• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock through the facility.
• Must be honest and truth worthy

• Deal with public in a positive, courteous and respectful manner
• Effective English communication both written and oral
• Possess good knowledge of visual merchandising

Preferred:

• Previous Retail experience
