About The Role:
Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations team as a Flight Crew Services Support Officer to be based in Doha, Qatar.
As a Flight Crew Services Support Officer, you will be responsible for managing an effective administrative support with the Flight Crew Services Support Department and provide comprehensive welfare support to all Flight Crew. You will also be responsible for providing necessary support to the Flight Crew who are recognized as being in need to welfare support through illness or other personal challenges.
Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include:
- Update FCSS management on any welfare matters/ concerns from Flight Crew in order to assure appropriate answers and solutions are provided.
- Manage Flight Crew queries on a daily basis in order to ensure practical solutions are provided to any problems that crew may encounter.
- Ensure the review board decisions requiring actions from FCSS are implemented within stipulated time causing no work disruption.
- Process roster changes, swaps & shifts as requested by Flight Crew in liaison with the Crew rostering department to ensure there is minimal /no operational impact.
- Conduct a daily check on particular fleet roster and as per the disruption daily report and sick report generated from TOPs to ensure rosters are reflecting the correct data at all times.
- Update Welfare and housing cases log with crew requests/ issues on daily basis for future records, reference and analysis.
- Participate as department representative in the inventory checks for Jump ship cases supporting Security and facilities department in completion of the separation formalities.
Qualifications About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Relevant College or University qualification to with minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
- Experience in hospitality, social services field or airline industry will be highly desirable.
- Must be computer literate with good knowledge of basic programming software as well as good knowledge of presentation techniques (i.e. Microsoft access, excel (models & tables), PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English language.
- Ability to coordinate/communicate/interact well with other areas/personnel.
- Must be able to demonstrate empathy with a multinational team of Flight Crew.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills and willingness to work in shifts.
