Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Oil & Gas operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering activities across project phases, ensuring compliance with specifications, schedules, budgets, and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical project activities from design to commissioning.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, client standards, and QHSE requirements.
• Track project progress, costs, and schedules; prepare reports and updates.
• Support procurement, inspection, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (static & rotating equipment, piping, HVAC, etc.)
• Experience working on EPC projects is preferred
• Familiarity with international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO)
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Qatar or GCC projects is an advantage
