About The Role

As a Airport Operations Control Center Officer, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition:

• Allocation of the parking stands of HIA through the Gate Management System in order to accommodate the traffic according to the safety restrictions.
• Day to day flight data processing and validation on the operational day and the next day in the Airport Operational Data base.
• Update the Airport Operational Data base of all operational data changes within a range from the day of operations plus 6 days.
• Monitoring of data flow on all AOCC systems in order to ensure accuracy and quality of data to all stakeholders and airport users.
• Monitor the AOCC systems and its relative interfaces performance in order to secure the operation of the shift and to active contingency measures if required.
• Monitor Electronics Visual Information Display System and staff information system performance and ensuring data accuracy for all passenger traffic.
• Monitoring of the approach radar, Advanced – Surface Movement Guidance & Control System Radar, VHF Aeronautical frequencies and HIA updates in order to deliver the Ten Miles Out and Acting Landing times to all Stakeholders.

Qualifications About you:

• High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
• Attended Airport/Airline operations courses i.e., passenger, ramp and cargo
• Experience in a comparative function capacity within the aviation industry (aerodrome operations, ground handling or airline environment.
