About Your Role
You will drive advocacy and strategic expansion of Qatar Airways’ Global Business Services (GBS) model across the organization. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities for GBS adoption, promoting internal branding and marketing initiatives, and collaborating with business units to embed GBS as a value-driven partner. Your role is to ensure alignment with QR’s transformation objectives by expanding GBS scope, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and positioning GBS as a trusted enabler of efficiency and innovation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Champion the GBS operating model through internal campaigns, leadership engagement, and success stories to build awareness and secure buy-in across QR Group.
- Based on inputs from Transformation team analyze business processes and pain points; identify functions suitable for migration to GBS to deliver cost optimization and service excellence
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for expanding GBS services into new units to increase coverage and maximize economies of scale
- Develop & maintain presentation of financial and non- financial benefits of GBS operating model
- Design and execute internal branding initiatives (newsletters, intranet updates, events) to position GBS as a strategic partner and enhance employee engagement.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, and functional heads to assess readiness and support transition team in defining transition plans to ensure smooth onboarding into GBS.
- Monitor adoption metrics and benefits realization for new GBS initiatives; report progress to leadership to demonstrate value and inform future strategy.
- Develop internal and external performance benchmarking to drive operational transparency and improve performance.
- Collaborate with service line leaders to establish databases of processes and other documentation that support business plans & business improvements
- Identify change management opportunities and ensure delivery of process change at scale
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent ( Type of Diploma Based on Role ) with minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in shared services, transformation, or corporate communications roles.
- Strong understanding of GBS/Shared Services operating models and change management principles.
- Data analysis interpretation and evaluation of reports
- Proven experience in change management & communications
- First class collaboration and team working
- Strong communication and presentation skills for advocacy and branding.
- Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams).
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation and consensus-building skills
- Excellent oral presentation and writing skills.
- Highly organized, systematic, and proactive in managing quality and exceeding client/customer expectations

- Professional pro-active analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills preferred
