As Heavy Truck Driver, you are responsible to assist in any driving related duties and responsibilities and also to provide professional service to our guests. Your day-to-day

• Ensure that the truck is kept clean at all times from inside and outside.
• Ensure that the truck is parked in a proper manner and it doesn’t affect the operations of the hotel and the receiving area.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of the Hotel services and check for any outdoor caterings.
• Ensure that the truck is checked on daily basis for any damages and scratches.
• Make sure every time there is an outdoor catering the chiller is operated and the temperature is maintained.
• Ensure that the truck is kept clean after every catering.
• Maintain the log book at all times when receiving the keys
• Establish and maintain good public relations with colleagues and other team members.
• Treat all clients and colleagues in a polite and courteous manner at all times.
• Give complete cooperation to any client or colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner.
• Ensure that the HACCP policy is being followed.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.

What We Need From You : Ideally, you’ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a driver in a professional environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
• Excellent knowledge of traffic rules and road safety
• Valid Qatar driving license and medium truck license
• Good organizational skills and time management
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
