International Expansion Manager

The International Expansion Manager will drive market evaluation, launch readiness, operational setup, and early scaling for Snoonu across new geographies. This role acts as the launch commander, orchestrating cross-functional execution and ensuring every new market is scalable, compliant, and competitive from day one.

You will collaborate closely with Commercial, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, People, and Marketing teams to build a repeatable roll-out model.

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On

  • Market Research & Feasibility
  • Conduct full-scope market studies including regulatory requirements, cultural nuances, competition, financial potential, partner ecosystem, and business model fit.
  • Recommend the optimal market entry model: direct entity, JV, franchise, acquisition, or platform-as-a-service (PaaS) model.
  • Launch & Operational Setup
  • Create and manage end-to-end launch playbooks, covering supply, demand, logistics, hiring, pricing, regulatory, facilities, and growth.
  • Lead licensing, regulatory approvals, governmental coordination, and compliance.
  • Set up local delivery network, merchant onboarding blueprint, and SLAs.
  • Drive test pilots, soft launches, learn-fast cycles, and rapid iteration.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Act as the central project lead for launch readiness, ensuring all Snoonu functions execute in sync.
  • Build and activate local partner networks (3PL, merchant groups, banks, telcos, e-commerce, influencers).

🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in market expansion, operations, consulting, marketplace/e-commerce, or tech startup leadership roles.
  • Hands-on involvement in a 0 → 1 launch journey (startup, business unit, or country launch).
  • Experience scaling tech-driven companies in GCC markets is a strong bonus / advantage.
  • Proven experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous, execution-driven environments.
  • Ability to travel frequently and deploy into new markets.
