About the job

As a Revenue Management Analyst, you will be responsible to effectively support the Groups Manager to manage the airline revenue from the Groups product, develop group strategies and procedures/processes to handle the group business. The role will be responsible to carry out the day-to-day operations, as well as regularly assessing the groups materialization, in line with the applicable T&Cs, seasonality and travel patterns that could have a major impact on the overall airline inventory and revenue optimization.

Accountabilities

  • Develop groups business on assigned Point of Sales Regions/Channel, based on the forecast and business requirements
  • Ensure group requests are being evaluated accurately as per the network revenue needs using the Groups Optimization system
  • Ensure the groups demand is being processed within the set time frame and in line with the standard policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with the Market Operations Team to make sure group booking activity is managed properly as per POS/route optimization strategy
  • Coordinate with the respective stations to achieve the group’s revenue targets and the enhancement of procedures/processes, to cater for market requirements
  • Maximize group revenue by using the group’s evaluation system, internal report and market intelligence tools
  • Manage group passengers’ demand by traffic flows/passenger travel pattern to optimize network revenue
  • Monitor the group booking patterns; confirmation, rejection and survival
  • Work closely with stations in handling operational needs on existing group requests
  • Guide the Sales Operations Team on the best practice of using the group’s tools and related business decisions
  • Effectively supports the Groups Manager to develop strategies and procedures/processes to enhance the overall groups business performance
  • Provide Management with updates on market performance and areas of concern
  • Work closely with System Team to enhance systems performance and provide feedback on systems related issues
  • Collaborate with GLD Team in formulating and delivering the groups training course to the network

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a passionate professional to join the Revenue Management Team

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of airline or travel agency experience is required
  • Airlines Reservations/Ticketing experience is a must
  • Knowledge of data processing and visualization tools like MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc. is a must
  • Strong analytical & decision-making skills
  • Previous Group Desk/Revenue Management experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in Airline Sales is a plus
  • Previous experience in PROS Groups System or Groups Handling Desk
