Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar.
We are seeking a creative, strategic and commercially minded marketing professional to drive brand awareness, enquiry generation and parent engagement for one of Qatar’s most forward-thinking international schools. This role is central to strengthening the school’s reputation and ensuring a premium experience for prospective and current families.
Working closely with the Director of Admissions & Marketing (DAM), you will help shape the school’s annual MAC plan and lead the execution of all marketing, content, PR and communications activity across digital and offline channels.
The Role
We seek an individual to join as Marketing and Communications Manager, where your focus will be:
- Developing and delivering the school’s marketing and communications strategy to enhance visibility, reputation and enrolment performance.
- Leading campaigns across digital, social, print and outdoor channels to drive awareness and enquiries.
- Managing brand positioning and ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
- Overseeing all internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, media relations and event promotion.
- Building and maintaining strong networks with parents, corporate entities, relocation agents and community partners.
- Managing the school’s online presence, including website, social media and digital advertising.
- Using data, insights and analytics to inform marketing decisions and optimise campaign performance.
- Leading and developing the Marketing & Communications team to ensure high-quality output and collaboration with Admissions and SLT.
The Successful Candidate Will Possess
- A Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in brand-building, marketing or communications roles.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing or coaching a marketing or communications team.
- Strong project management capability with the ability to deliver multiple initiatives to a high standard.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform strategy and assess performance.
- Strong digital capability, including social media management and digital campaign execution.
- Experience in the education sector, premium brands, or GCC markets (desirable).
