About The Role:

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations – Ground Training team as a Learning Management Systems Officer, to be based in Doha, Qatar.

As a Learning Management Systems Officer, you will be responsible for development and delivery of eLearning courses, taking charge of the Learning Management System (LMS) administration, and ensuring pilot training compliance through careful monitoring of course completions.

Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include:

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration

• Manage and maintain the LMS platform ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
• Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, and enrolment in learning programs.
• Upload, configure, test and maintain all learning content, including SCORM, xAPI, and video files.
• Provide tier-1 technical support to end-users and troubleshoot system and content-related issues promptly.
• Generate detailed reports on learning consumption, completion rates, and user engagement to inform Flight Training Management and ensure compliance.

E-Learning Content Development

• Design and develop highly interactive and engaging digital learning modules, simulations, and assessments.
• Utilize advanced features within Articulate Storyline or/and Adobe Captivate to create custom, dynamic e-learning courses.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to transform raw content into polished, web-ready learning assets.
• Ensure all developed content is compliant with industry standards (SCORM).

Qualifications

About you

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Relevant College or University qualifications with minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
• Proven experience in administering and maintaining a Learning Management System.
• Experience with testing and integrating new learning technologies or system upgrades, video editing, and experience in an airline or aviation training environment is a plus.
• Expert-level proficiency with a major e-learning authoring tool, specifically Articulate Storyline (or Adobe Captivate).
• Proven experience in using any of the Adobe Creative Cloud software.
• Solid understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and a meticulous approach to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
