In Qatar, Siemens Mobility is currently operating and maintaining the Education City Tram System, the world’s first low-floor, catenary-free tram system. It utilizes a Hybrid Energy System (HES), which combines supercapacitors and batteries to power the tram between charging points along the route. Spanning 11 km, the network connects the North and South Campuses of Education City with 19 Siemens Avenio trams, enhancing sustainable mobility in the region.

What are my responsibilities?

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous and safe equipment operation.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and cooling systems.
• Follow work orders and technical documentation to complete maintenance activities accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities and operational data in daily reports and work logs.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.

What are my Qualifications?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within an industrial organization.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, cooling, and related technical systems.
• Proven ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, circuit diagrams, and work orders.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
• Solid computer skills for entering maintenance data, daily reports, and work logs.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and listening skills, with excellent English proficiency required.
