About The Role
At Four Seasons Hotel The Pearl – Doha, the Commis I in our Steakhouse Kitchen plays a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This position supports the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in line with Four Seasons standards.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in daily mise en place for the steakhouse kitchen.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of all food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during operations.
- Support senior chefs in menu development and special events when required.
- Monitor inventory and report shortages to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts and grilling techniques.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
