We are looking for an experienced Audio-Visual (AV) Consultant to lead the design, specification, and integration of large-scale AV systems for stadiums, arenas, corporate campuses, and public venues. This role demands strong expertise in acoustic modeling, giant LED display systems, timing & scoring solutions, and IP-networked AV infrastructures, delivering world-class experiences for spectators, performers, and operators.

Role Overview

As an AV Consultant, you will be responsible for designing scalable, reliable, and future-ready AV solutions that meet industry standards, technical requirements, and client expectations across complex, high-profile venues.

Key Responsibilities

AV Systems Design & Consultation

• Lead the design and specification of audio, video, and control systems for large venues, stadiums, arenas, and multipurpose facilities
• Produce detailed design documentation including schematics, signal flow diagrams, loudspeaker layouts, LED positioning, and network diagrams
• Perform acoustic modeling using EASE / Soundvision to optimize coverage and intelligibility
• Design and integrate giant LED screens, scoreboards, ribbon boards, video walls, and control room displays
• Develop and integrate timing & scoring systems with AV, display, and broadcast networks
• Design IP-networked AV systems (Audio-over-IP, Video-over-IP, and control system integration with IT infrastructure)
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, redundancy, reliability, and lifecycle management requirements
• Oversee system commissioning, tuning, and final performance verification

Project Management & Coordination

• Coordinate with engineers, IT teams, and venue operators to meet technical, operational, and budget requirements
• Manage site surveys, performance validation, and system acceptance testing
• Collaborate with vendors, system integrators, and venue stakeholders to ensure design intent is achieved

Required Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum 10 years of professional AV consulting/design experience
• Proven experience delivering AV solutions for large venues, stadiums, arenas, or corporate campuses
• Strong experience with LED video display systems, giant scoreboards, timing & scoring systems, and video walls

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Certifications

• AVIXA: CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I
• Dante Level 3 Certification
• Manufacturer certifications such as L-Acoustics, Bosch, Bose, Meyer Sound, Daktronics, Infiled, Novastar, Q-SYS, Extron, or similar
