Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing contractor invoices, ABMS (Activity-Based Management System) data, appendices, and related financial documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project budgets and deliverables.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Reviewing contractor invoices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Analyzing ABMS data and appendices to validate invoice details and ensure alignment with project budgets and deliverables.
- Conducting quality checks on invoices and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Collaborating with the Finance team to ensure proper documentation and timely processing of invoices.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and forecasts for projects, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
- Assisting in the preparation and review of financial reports, including cost analysis and budget tracking.
- Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve invoice-related issues.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate records of all reviewed invoices, estimates, and related financial documentation.
- Contributing to process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of invoice review and cost estimation.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in cost estimation, invoice review, and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of contractor invoicing processes, ABMS, and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in cost estimation and financial management.
- A strong background in cost estimation, invoice review, and financial analysis, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
