Job Purpose

We are seeking an organized and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to provide administrative support to our Managing Director. The PA will play a key role in managing the Managing Director’s schedule, handling correspondence, and coordinating meetings and events. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters, on behalf of the Managing Director.
  • Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including booking venues, arranging catering, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Take minutes during meetings and distribute them to attendees as needed.
  • Screen and prioritize incoming communications and requests for the Managing Director’s attention.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Conduct research and compile information on various topics as requested.
  • Assist with personal tasks and errands for the Managing Director as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Managing Director and other members of the executive team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Work Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the Gulf region
  • Experience working with multicultural teams.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of cooking techniques and methods.
  • Extensive knowledge of ingredients, flavor profiles, and culinary trends.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen equipment and utensils.
