  • Acts as the interface between quality assurance and the production department ensuring implementing the ideal manufacturing process.
  • Interfaces between sales and stores to ensure that production output is in line with sales forecast
  • Coordinates with sales teams to ensure that promotional requirements are adhered to
  • Continuously strengthen & develops the connection between production & sales though the customer demand forecasting (CDF).
  • Handles production related Customer & sales complain
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory and health officials.
  • Ensures relevant permits and certificates are obtained – certificate on Consent to operate and environment permits etc.
  • Meeting the requirements set by PEPSI and ensure compliance for AIBI Audit, QAS Audit and Food Safety Audits.
  • Responsible to insure all the internal manufacturing process are achieved and completed within goals, targets and specifications.
  • Manage the Schedule Compliance measure.
  • Manages the Production Planning and Control
  • Manages Health, safety and hygiene in production.
  • Prepare and Analyze production reports to detect problem areas that may be affecting the efficiencies of production.
  • Analysis of inventory movements related to Finished Goods and Raw Materials
  • Analysis reports for Capacity Planning
  • Motivates and directs production staff to obtain the highest levels of productivity and optimum utilization of manpower, equipment and material.
  • Talent and Performance manages production staff
  • Continuous improvement on process to reduce cost and increase efficiency
  • Continuous update on external audit certification.
  • Innovates new packaging techniques to optimize the cost of the packaging materials.
  • Provides inputs into the long terms strategic plans of the production department by understanding the changes in the industry dynamics
  • Translates agreed short and medium term strategic objectives into operational objectives and ensure that line is fully informed and KPI are set and monitored to achieve these objectives
  • Implement Multi skill plans in the Shop floor.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 15 years’ of overall experience in production operations of which 3 years must have been spent in managerial role within CSD and Water manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in in business / supply chain / production/ manufacturing / mechanical / electrical engineering is a must.
  • Certification in TPM/TQM is a must.
  • Related post graduate diploma or MBA in supply chain management would be an added advantage
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in TPM or Lean Management and should have worked in similar assignments prior
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management modules in ERP environments.
  • Exposure in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is desirable.
  • Exposure in FSSC, HACCP, ISO, food safety, AIBI, BCP, RECON & OSHA
  • Bilingual is a must (English and Arabic)
