The Director of Marketing Communication provides strategic leadership for Snoonu’s brand reputation, voice, and visibility across all external channels. This senior role is accountable for defining and executing a world-class communication agenda that strengthens Snoonu’s position as Qatar’s leading super app and a regional technology innovator.

As a member of the Marketing leadership team, the Director oversees PR, corporate communications, Social media, influencer strategy, and creative content production. They will act as Snoonu’s communication architect, ensuring every message—from mass-market campaigns to executive speeches—reinforces the company’s vision and business objectives.

  • Public Relations & Reputation Management
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with local, regional, and international media.
  • Oversee high-stakes communication moments—major launches, partnerships, crises, and leadership visibility.
  • Drive Snoonu’s share of voice and ensure consistent, positive market positioning.
  • Influencer & Community Advocacy
  • Architect Snoonu’s influencer and ambassador program is an extension of the brand voice.
  • Ensure the influencer strategy is aligned with the corporate reputation and delivers a measurable ROI.
  • Create scalable, innovative influencer activations that elevate Snoonu’s visibility and relevance.
  • Creative Excellence
  • Set the vision for creative and content output that is bold, innovative, and market-leading.
  • Ensure campaigns and brand assets are culturally resonant, globally benchmarked, and consistent.
  • Partner with digital, vertical, and performance marketing to amplify communication impact.
  • Social Media Leadership
  • Define Snoonu’s social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Snapchat, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
  • Ensure platforms deliver on both brand-building and performance goals, with tailored content strategies per audience.
  • Establish governance for tone of voice, posting cadence, and content quality.
  • Oversee social listening, ensuring real-time responses to market sentiment and competitive activity.
  • Partner with Vertical and Performance Marketing to amplify campaigns through social channels.
  • Governance & Measurement
  • Establish communication governance frameworks to safeguard brand reputation and streamline approvals.
  • Define and own communication KPIs (share of voice, PR value, brand equity index, influencer ROI, engagement).
  • Provide the leadership team with strategic insights on market sentiment, risks, and communication effectiveness.
