Job Description
- Expertise in making a variety of sushi types, including nigiri, sashimi, rolls (makimono), temaki, and other traditional Japanese dishes.
- To create unique rolls and dishes, using seasonal ingredients and inventive presentation.
- High attention to detail in plating, ensuring that sushi is consistently presented beautifully and according to standard.
- To have strong interpersonal skills for occasional customer engagement, particularly at the sushi bar, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Meets and exceeds customer service and team member expectations by providing Yes I Can! Service & teamwork:
- Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever is reasonable to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors
- Demonstrate teamwork by co-operating and assisting co-workers as needed

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in the same position in a 4/5-star hotel or in a recognized Sushi Bar.
- Sushi Expertise: Knowledge of traditional sushi preparation, knife skills, and fish handling.
- Experience: Proven experience in sushi preparation, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Cultural Knowledge: Understanding of Japanese cuisine, traditions, and etiquette.
- Rice & Presentation: Expertise in perfecting sushi rice and presenting sushi attractively.
- Customer Service: Ability to interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment for extended hours.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision in sushi preparation and presentation.
- Creativity: Open to experimenting with new sushi creations or fusion dishes.
- Age – 20 to 25 Years
