Are you a driven and curious graduate eager to build a career in civil engineering? AECOM is excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our Civil Infrastructure team in Qatar as a Graduate Civil Engineer as part of our Graduate Program.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of infrastructure projects – from design and supervision of roads and utilities to bridges and urban development, giving you a well-rounded foundation in the civil engineering field.

Role Overview: As a Graduate Civil Engineer at AECOM, you’ll support the planning, design, and delivery of critical infrastructure projects across Qatar. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to key technical tools and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Assist in the design of civil infrastructure components including roads, utilities, and site development layouts.
  • Participate in the application of quality control procedures and industry standards.
  • Support senior engineers with the preparation of design documentation, reports, and project deliverables.
  • Contribute to drawing production and design models using platforms such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
  • Engage in cross-functional coordination and attend team meetings to understand project workflows.
  • Develop technical skills while enhancing your ability to communicate findings and progress clearly.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
  • Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates (no later than Sept 2025) to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.3 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
  • If you hold a Master’s degree, it must have started within 12 months of finishing your Bachelor’s to meet the program’s continuous education requirement.
  • Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
