We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Officer to manage our sourcing and purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material procurement, market analysis, and vendor management, especially within the recycling, construction, or industrial materials sector.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers of scrap, surplus, and reusable materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor market trends to assess material values and ensure competitive purchasing.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams for stock level optimization and budget alignment.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in scrap trading, construction materials, or industrial sectors.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of local and international scrap/material markets.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or Hindi.
