Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Execute Global Pricing Strategy : Own the development and rollout of Qatar Airways Cargo’s pricing framework, balancing market competitiveness with profitability objectives.
- Revenue Optimization : Monitor key pricing performance indicators (price-gap-to-market, market share, revenue per ATK, etc.), using insights to fine-tune pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
- Commercial Innovation : Lead the design and testing of industry leading commercial models (e.g., dynamic pricing, bundled offers, index based pricing, revenue sharing mechanisms) to optimize customer deals.
- Contract and RFP Governanc e: Oversee the commercial evaluation and price negotiation of cargo tenders, contracts, and partner agreements across free sale, allotments, and long-term programs.
- Drive Joint Business Pricing Initiatives : Design and implement pricing strategies for joint business agreements (JBAs) and strategic cargo partnerships, ensuring seamless integration, fairness, and revenue optimization.
- Lead and Inspire Multi-Regional Teams : Manage and mentor geographically diverse pricing teams, ensuring alignment with global strategy, operational excellence, and consistent execution across all markets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Act as the primary liaison between pricing, sales, network planning, revenue management, and alliance partners to align commercial objectives and pricing structures.
- Tech Transformation: Spearhead the digital transformation of pricing, including automation, predictive analytics, and real-time rate management, in collaboration with IT and project management teams.
- Change Management & Training: Champion pricing best practices, system adoption, and change readiness across teams globally, ensuring full alignment on objectives and tools.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all pricing actions adhere to internal compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and partner governance protocols.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience in air cargo, pricing, and/or revenue management
- At least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Proven experience with international carriers and pricing systems
- Exposure to business transformation or project management
- Commercial mindset with a hands-on approach to execution
