About The Role
Responsible in leading the operations support teams delivering mission critical documentation for flight operations at aircraft side. Will plan and allocate resources on time throughout shifts, manage the reporting of absence, equipment failures and performance to schedule, assist in gathering data used in the event of delays to flights due late delivery of required.
Operational
- Completes all operation related activities by leading the shift within a stipulated period of time.
- Ensures strict compliance and privacy of sensitive information of the company and the records.
- Co-ordinates with Ground Services QR to receive all the required Landing cards and other documents.
- Prepares the report for every shift.
- Ensures all the documents and records are properly arranged in an orderly manner for easy access when they are in need.
- Liaises with the other departments for obtaining stationary, logistics and the required documents.
- Updates the Line Manager with all relevant activity during the shift.
- Updates the team if any roster changes or shift changes have been made and organize the team with accordance of their skills ensuring no shortage at any point of time.
- Regular update of the team contacts and response to other departments if any information is required.
- Maintains a record of the licenses held by the team and their expiry dates.
- Initiate trainings for the team and also perform excellent book keeping duties. Ensures the team attends all mandatory trainings.
- Maintain all the records in an organized, professional and timely manner.
- Coordinates with the customs department in obtaining the required clearance for the General Declarations.
- Keeps a record of the charge notes generated for additional ground handling services and submit the consolidated data before the end of the financial month.
- Ensure that company assets distribution is performed in an organized and timely manner and coordinates with QAS System Support for the replacement of devices.
- Informs the team of all important memos, awareness and develop their holistic growth.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About You
- High School Qualification with minimum 2 years of job-related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 1 year of job-related experience
- Experience in document handling.
- Experience in dealing with Load Control, Communication, Ramp, government authorities.
- Certified Computer Literacy
- Adequate communication and professional etiquettes.
- Understand the requirement of working in a Team and Handling a situation with regards to Operations.
- People management skills and development along with multi-ethnic work force exposure.
- Command of English language
Preferred
- Previous work experience with an Aviation company.
- Exposure to a multi cultured environment.
- Customer service Experience.
- Holding a valid Qatar Driving License
- Excellent command over spoken and written Arabic.
- Proficient in all MS office applications.
- Proficient in Correspondence with basic arithmetic skills.
- Knowledgeable about Aviation based applications.
