In Qatar, Siemens Mobility is currently operating and maintaining the Education City Tram System, the world’s first low-floor, catenary-free tram system. It utilizes a Hybrid Energy System (HES), which combines supercapacitors and batteries to power the tram between charging points along the route. Spanning 11 km, the network connects the North and South Campuses of Education City with 19 Siemens Avenio trams, enhancing sustainable mobility in the region.
Today, we are recruiting for a Fit4Rail Summer Internship 2025 to join our team in Qatar. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects related to your area of focus.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Provide support in creating and delivering presentations or reports.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
- Follow the company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Complete assigned tasks within designated timelines.
- Seek initiatives within the company.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Undergraduate student in ( Finance, Accounting, Engineering).
- Ability to work proactively and have a good sense of teamwork.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong influence and impetus.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Fluency in English language both written and spoken.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
- Work independently, safely, and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
