
F&B Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused F&B Supervisor to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As an F&B Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of service in our food and beverage outlets.
- Oversee daily operations of food and beverage service areas, ensuring excellent customer experiences
- Collaborate with the F&B Operations Manager and Assistant F&B Manager on administrative tasks and operational improvements
- Attend and actively participate in daily F&B briefings and other required meetings
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes for various F&B-related gatherings
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Department to develop compelling marketing content for F&B initiatives
- Supervise the production and quality control of menus and food tags for restaurant, bar, and banquet events
- Draft and disseminate professional memorandums for the F&B Department
- Respond promptly to inquiries from internal departments and external customers
- Maintain a vigilant presence during peak service hours, providing critical support to F&B outlets and service teams
- Report any irregularities or discrepancies to the F&B Operations Manager immediately
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and foster positive working relationships within the department
- Coordinate with supporting departments to maintain the appearance and condition of all hotel areas
- Propose and implement procedural improvements to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency
- Present well-researched suggestions to management regarding operations, cost control, and profitability
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar F&B supervisory role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and presentation
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
