• The role will coordinate and execute SIT (system integration testing) across impacted IT platforms and core network for relevant projects/products
• Support and further develop test automation and relevant tools used to expedite SIT and or performance related testing
• Lead, Coordinate, and execute System Integration Testing in all applicable projects and ensure that the integration tests are error–free and on time.
• Establish a team to undertake SIT’s by nominating members from all impacted platforms and bringing them together as a unified working team ensuring the development team is not involved in testing teams (ensuring effective identification of errors/gaps etc.)
• Implement testing objectives and guidelines for developing test cases based on department blueprints and published SIT Coordination process, involving key project stakeholders for input (project managers, relevant platform and network teams, marketing, etc.)
• Prioritize and schedule testing in coordination with Data Centre and ensure its effective execution.
• Monitor and review all testing and debugging and ensure the effective production and dissemination of test reports to the relevant parties highlighting gaps/errors and making productive recommendations where possible.
• Support the further development of test automation and applicable test tools required to run regression of E2E services.
• Help ensure effective implementation of guidelines, interface and processes for testing including required tools and support.
• Ensure timely and error-free SIT testing and communicate the closure/key escalations to relevant stakeholders (From all business units)
• Provide periodic reports related to all SIT activities.

Skills

• Proven experience in Telecom Software Testing and Telecom OSS/BSS products.
• Capable of working at high-level solution architecture, as well as delving in low-level details if required.
• Working knowledge in Java, Unix, Shell Scripting, Perl, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL. Solid command of other development languages such as Python, Angular, C++, PHP is a bonus.
• Hands-on experience with protocols such as RADIUS, DIAMETER, LDAP, SPML, SOAP, XML, SMPP, HTTP, DNS.
• Hands on experience with mobile and enterprise test automation frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex IT and core network solutions involving 10+ sub-systems.
• Solid understanding of the following core concepts: CRM, Online charging, billing flows, policy control, AAA, Roaming, Provisioning, Digital as well as other customer channels.
• Quick learner and can work well when under pressure.
• Excellent presentation skills and a clear communicator.
• Highly developed organizational skills (multi-tasking capabilities) and pro-active and independent working style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Telecoms Engineering, Computer Science or IT
• 5 years of total experience in engineering field at least 2 of which must be within a similar role where testing plays a significant part
• Proven knowledge and expertise in undertaking SIT
• Expertise in establishing an SIT department
• ISTQB or similar professional qualifications desired.
• Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and toolsets such as Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub or Azure Devops.
• Experience in RADIUS, DIAMETER, LDAP, SPML is a plus
