We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reservations Manager to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our hospitality management team, you will oversee the reservations department, ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing revenue through effective inventory management.
- Lead and manage the reservations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to create and execute promotional packages and special offers
- Monitor and analyze reservation trends, adjusting strategies as needed to meet business objectives
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all reservations, including individual, group, and corporate bookings
- Handle complex reservation inquiries, changes, and cancellations with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory across various distribution channels, including the hotel’s website, OTAs, and GDS
- Generate and analyze reports on reservations, occupancy, and revenue performance
- Resolve customer complaints and issues related to reservations promptly and professionally
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in reservations management
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the reservations department
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong working knowledge of Opera Property Manager System (PMS) and Central Reservations System (CRS)
- Proven leadership experience in a hotel environment
- Excellent understanding of revenue management principles and practices
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating teams
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
