We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our Golf Operations team at ECGC. This front-line role is crucial in delivering a positive first impression for our members and guests while supporting the seamless day-to-day operations of our golf and padel services.

Role Description

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests. You’ll be responsible for managing phone calls, handling inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating positive experiences for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist members and guests at the front desk
  • Handle inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, email, and in person
  • Manage golf tee time and padel court bookings
  • Support membership registration, renewals, and payments
  • Coordinate with Golf Pros for lesson bookings and payments
  • Assist with tournaments, events, and guest communications
  • Process payments through POS and online systems
  • Perform general office duties such as reporting, filing, and admin tasks
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards at all times

Qualifications

  • Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff
  • Previous experience in customer service and administrative roles preferred
  • Exceptional organization and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of golf booking systems is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months of related experience/training preferred
  • Basic math skills (percentages, simple calculations)
