The Communications Senior Specialist is to be working with Brand and Communication Senior Manager to develop and implement communication strategies in Vodafone Qatar, and to deliver communication campaigns that is aligned with the Brand strategy and calendar to grow Vodafone Qatar market share. The person on the role is to design and review communication campaigns and promotions. In doing so, the roles may include but not be limited to a variety of communication and administrative functions as it applies to the completion of campaigns and Brand Team support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of quality and tone of voice, for all channels including collateral, digital, social media, and newsletters.
  • Ensure alignment of communications calendars across other team members managing the other portfolios to ensure Vodafone representation in the market is clear and concise regardless of the segment.
  • Ensure seamless and successful implementation of 360 campaigns across all channels, including internal, external (ATL/TTL), digital, onground  and PR.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (all levels) and external stakeholders and adveritisng agnecies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of various crisis and emergency response activities and communication plans for various division, as required.
  • Manage executive communication and presentation development in coordination with Brand and Communication Senior Manager.
  • Analyze and provide reports and analytics about efficiency and effectiveness of communication initiatives.
  • Perform any additional project, task or activities assigned/delegated by the Line Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/ hospitality management or equivalent
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Consumer, FMCG, and/or Marketing environment with an expertise in telco, technology and/or digital field.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effective prioritization expertise in an environment where prudent judgement is essential
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Must be a Qatari National
