Parsons is looking for an experienced Site Engineer (Structure) to join our team! In this role, you will manage daily site operations related to structural construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee all structural construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the design and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of structural works, such as concrete and steel structures, foundations, and related infrastructure.
- Monitor work progress, identifying potential delays or issues and taking corrective actions to ensure the project remains on track.
- Conduct site inspections, ensuring that structural works are completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with the approved design.
- Ensure proper documentation of all structural works, including progress reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.
- Manage site safety, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and minimize risks associated with structural works.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for structural works.
- Assist with testing and commissioning, ensuring that structural components meet the necessary quality and functionality standards before handover
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural construction supervision, with at least 5 years in a site engineering role for large-scale infrastructure projects such as bridges and industrial facilities.
- Experience in managing structural works such as concrete and steel structures, foundations, and related infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of structural construction standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- MME is required
