The Spa Supervisor at Fairmont Doha plays a key role in supporting the Spa & Wellness leadership team in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the spa. This role ensures guests receive a world-class spa experience aligned with the brand’s luxurious standards while leading and inspiring a team of wellness professionals in delivering authentic, personalized service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience:

  • Welcome and assist guests throughout their spa journey, ensuring a memorable and seamless experience.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of spa treatments, services, and retail offerings to guide guest choices.
  • Manage guest feedback, concerns, or special requests with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee daily operations of the spa including therapist and receptionist scheduling, room readiness, and inventory levels.
  • Support implementation of standards, procedures, and protocols in line with Fairmont Spa guidelines.
  • Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and ambience of the spa environment meet five-star luxury standards.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and motivate spa therapists, attendants, and receptionists to ensure high service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular briefings and support ongoing development and wellness training for all team members.
  • Foster a positive team culture that reflects Fairmont’s values of empathy, excellence, and innovation.

Sales & Revenue

  • Promote retail and treatment sales through team coaching and upselling strategies.
  • Monitor daily revenues and support the Spa Manager in meeting monthly sales and performance targets.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

  • Ensure adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations across all spa areas.
  • Support the proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and guest information.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or certification in Spa Therapy, Wellness, or Hospitality.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a luxury spa or wellness setting.
  • Knowledge of spa booking systems (e.g., Book4Time or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership presence, guest-oriented mindset, and a passion for wellness and holistic experiences.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and public holidays.
