Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Scientist – Assistant Level (Bioinformatics) with expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Located in the Doha Metropolitan Area, the Staff Scientist will conduct cutting-edge bioinformatics research, develop and apply machine learning models, analyze complex datasets, and collaborate with clinicians and researchers. The role involves designing experiments, interpreting results, publishing scientific papers, and presenting findings at conferences.

Qualifications

• Experience in Bioinformatics, Data Analysis, and Statistical Methods
• Proficiency in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Model Development
• Skills in Programming Languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Ability to work with large-scale datasets and perform Computational Biology tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
