Job Purpose:

We’re looking for a dedicated Commis Chef with expertise in Indian Tandoor to join our dynamic culinary team!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Tandoori dishes (including kebabs, breads, and meats)
  • Maintain proper Tandoor oven operation, cleanliness, and temperature
  • Follow hygiene and safety standards strictly
  • Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure quality control and consistency in every dish served

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in Indian Tandoor cooking
  • Basic knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and traditional recipes
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Culinary certification is a plus, but not mandatory
