Parsons is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of hospitality projects, including luxury resorts, boutique hotels, and mixed-use hospitality complexes. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering within the hospitality sector and a strong understanding of the unique requirements of hotel environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in the mechanical engineering design and implementation for hospitality projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated solutions that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support the selection, installation, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct site inspections and reviews to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, design documentation, and progress updates to stakeholders, including developers, brand operators, and local authorities.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and sustainable practices in mechanical engineering.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in hospitality projects.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with international hospitality standards and brand guidelines (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, Accor).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve design and engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Professional certification in Mechanical Engineering (PE or equivalent) and relevant local licensing where applicable.
