What You Will Do
The Engineering Coordinator provides support and clerical expertise to Engineering Department and responds to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies
- This role will handle all administrative aspects of the Hotel/Resort Maintenance department.
- Inventories and orders all supplies needed for the operation by using the Hotel’s PO system.
- Works closely with the Hotels maintenance system HotSOS
- Coordinate and respond to telephone requests from guests and general work requests, direct and dispatch work assignments to Property Operations Management team.
- Maintain certain inventory and supplies of the department used to effect operation of entire hotel; maintain records and file on all mandatory systems, such as preventive maintenance, work requests.
- Assists the Director of Property Operations Maintenance and Property Operations Maintenance Manager with assignments as directed.
- An individual with solid experience as an Engineering Coordinator; prior experience in a Property Operations Maintenance position in hospitality preferred.
- Responsible for answering all Engineering incoming telephone calls while ensuring maximum operating efficiency of the department by directing all requests properly
- Assist in special projects to ensure the maintenance and improvement of the engineering product and services
- Organize the Engineering office ensuring files are accurate and updated
- Record any concerns and inform management team and/or properly resolve to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform administrative skills such as typing, filing, copying, faxing, and answering telephones according to Four Seasons standards
- Communicate to Engineers on duty and keep a log of all details pertaining to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areas in a timely manner.
- Handle the calendars for the Director of Engineering for appointments with contractors and vendors.
- Assist Director of Engineering with purchase order system and roster.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
- Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
What You Bring
- 2-4 years of experience in related field
- Excellent command in English
- Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality and have an eye to details.
