About The Role

Qatar Duty Free is in search of a dynamic leader who will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the QDF warehouse and sub- stores . An expert in ensuring all resources meet and exceed operational goals. Utilise support teams to maximize productivity safely, while pursuing and implementing business improvements that promote the best practice. Monitoring costs, implementing continuous improvement plans to identify and implement cost savings while enhancing service to QDF and external customers.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the day -to- day QDF Warehouse operations ( including sub – stores) to ensure agreed key performance indicators are met and customer expectations exceeded.
• Ensure warehouse productivity and safety measures are agreed, implemented and monitored to maximise productivity whilst managing costs and minimising operational risks and issues.
• Provide feedback to the HODs regarding issues around stock and space, work with them to maximise operational efficiencies.
• Management of both Weekly and Monthly Operational Reports that are tailored around 4 core areas :
• Customer Key Performance Indicator s
• Manpower and Resource Planning Reportin g
• Stock Discrepancy Reportin g
• Management Reportin g
• Ensure all Occupational Health and Safety standard operation procedures are always adhered to, and risk assessments are carried out on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance to all statutory norms regarding the warehouse operation through the development implementation and monitoring of SOPs and other processes .

A successful candidate should possess

• Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s leve l
• LEAN Six-Sigma and/or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred .

It Is Essential To Have

• Minimum 7 years relevant experience
• Internal and external customer advisory and management

Preferably

• Has worked towards and/ or with ISO 9001 environment .
• Working knowledge of Qatar legal and legislative requirements.
• Has managed end – to-end supply chains .
