Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and transform incoming inquiries to guarantee they meet financial targets while surpassing overall revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate with the MICE & Groups Sales Manager to establish clear strategies and objectives that improve account performance and meet yearly budget goals.
  • Collaborating with the Event Planning team to design unforgettable, expertly organized, and elegant group reservations and events for a diverse clientele, focusing on fostering return guests.
  • Making sure all customers receive prompt and effective responses within established parameters while thoroughly qualifying leads to develop customized proposals.
  • Fosters positive interactions with guests and colleagues, building strong working relationships.
  • Perform site visits and engage with clients to go over their needs (client entertainment may be necessary during evenings and weekends).
  • Perform ongoing Competitor Analysis and keep an up-to-date understanding of the market, trends, opportunities, and pricing.
  • Make certain that every customer request and inquiry is addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Offer administrative assistance and calendar management to the Meeting and Events Manager.
  • Welcome scheduled guests and direct them to the correct location or individual.
  • Keep the manual filing system compliant with company standards.
  • Management of all databases for market segments.
  • Organize and carry out all direct mailings as directed by the Meeting and Events Manager.
  • Help with the organization of corporate hospitality events.
  • Perform market research/telesales campaigns as needed.
  • Assemble sales packs and make sure there is a sufficient quantity of appropriate stationery and brochures available.
  • Achieve particular sales goals established by management and headquarters.
  • Gather pertinent weekly/monthly meetings and reports for the Meetings and Events Manager
  • Outstanding skills in presentation, negotiation, and sales.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a superior level of both written and spoken English.
  • Keen focus on specifics.
  • A polished and professional look.
  • Above all, you will possess a friendly, optimistic, and proactive attitude.
  • Having experience in a comparable position at a 5-star hotel is a considerable asset
