To ensure clients receive requested treatments and follow-up recommendations according to the spa’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.

Key Responsibilities

The duties of Spa Therapist is executed satisfactorily when:

• • Provides spa treatments according to Kempinski the Spa treatment menu, standards and outlined protocols.

• • Retains proper working knowledge of the process, benefit and outcome of all treatments and products in the spa.

• • References and adjusts treatments according to the guest’s health assessment.

• • Delivers special, individualized and unique service to guests in the Spa.

• • Up sells and recommends in a thoughtful way—treatments, retail and homecare.

• • Begins and end treatments on time.

• • Confidently handles and rectifies guest queries or small complaints.

• • Ensures guests comfort and a genuine, welcoming environment for all guests.

• • Ensures a proper handover is completed in the guest journey as per the documented standard; following up on treatment experience and acting on any discrepancies.

• • Maintains the setup, hygiene and cleanliness of treatment rooms and treatment equipment.

• • Maintains complete discretion and confidentially in all communications with guests.

• • Actions other positions’ responsibilities within the spa as required.

• • Reports all accidents and guest incidents to the Spa Manager in a swift and professional manner.

• • Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
