About The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Vice President of Product Development & Design (SVP PDD) in managing and coordinating the implementation of both confidential and non-confidential projects, with an emphasis on transforming the Product Development & Design (PDD) department. Ensuring that project objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved within the established timelines through intricate coordination with various stakeholders. Overseeing the department’s administrative team and adherence to corporate guidelines. Managing SVP PDD’s engagements with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating preparation of complex memos and presentations.
As part of your role, your additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate, and track all major projects under strict timelines for all activities for the SVP PDD office.
- Coordinate quality control throughout the project life cycle by maintaining delivery timelines, mitigating project risks, and acting as a liaison with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective change management.
- Collaborate with all internal stakeholders within the division and across wider QR group stakeholders on cross-functional project status, communication channels from kick-off to delivery.
- Consolidate and deliver periodic management reports and presentations capturing information on timelines and project completeness, while also creating detailed process documentation and guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of replication.
- Engage with other divisions within Qatar Airways group, external stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers to coordinate the sequence for execution of works, resources deployment, and necessary information for successful project progression, ensuring adherence to project baselines.
- Support the Senior Vice President of Product Development & Design in business case development, exploring the risks, benefits, costs, and scope of the project.
- Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department

About You
- Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 4+ years of experience in project management.
- Database administration experience and proven ability to work under pressure to defined timescales.
- Advanced experience of using project management tools (e.g., Power Bi, Jira or similar platforms).
- Excellent planning, interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.
- Client focused and business aware, with proven interaction to senior management level.
- Effective at managing working relationships and with strong interpersonal skills.
