About the Role
Responsible for implementing QAS Marketing strategy in a manner that supports business growth and enhances brand equity and awareness. As a Marketing Manager, play a critical role in ensuring Qatar Aviation Services image and positioning are well perceived by the different target groups and consistent with the corporate strategy and QAS branding guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Implement the QAS marketing strategy as agreed with the Manager of Commercial & Marketing and ensure that it aligns with Qatar Aviation Services corporate vision.
- Responsible for secure that all content related to marketing projects is fully aligned with the target deadline set by the Head of Division and Management.
- Responsible for marketing planning activities considering QAS corporate objectives in order to properly position QAS in the local market.
- Work on a variety of marketing disciplines and be responsible for the planning and managing of projects independently which aim at achieving the company’s sales targets, and growth objectives.
- Establish a strong network with key departments of Qatar Airways group relevant to Qatar Aviation Services day to day business such as QR Marketing and product development.
- Responsible to manage the allocated marketing budget, in a way that generates a maximum outcome and favorable exposure in the target markets, without exceeding the set financial resources and achieving the return on investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns.
- Develop metrics, milestones, and KPIs in order to follow up the project’s development keeping the Head of the Division and Management aware of the ongoing process phases.
- Conduct competitor and marketing analyses to drive business opportunities and identify areas for growth and product development.
- Ensuring QAS brand image positioning is well-perceived by the different target groups and customer segmentation either geographically or demographically through well market research.
- Work with the Commercial and Business Development team to support internal/external events, conferences, and tradeshows.
- Responsible to make sure that QAS Webpage is always updated with the latest news content.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
About you
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
- Expert – minimum 5 years of job- related experience required
- Track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies that have met or exceed planner objectives
- Command of English language
- Understanding of the different marketing disciplines & techniques
- Computer literate including MS Office, preferably desktop publishing skills (Adobe desktop publishing software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Ability to plan and manage marketing activities.
- Well-developed team-oriented skills
Preferred
- Graduate/ Master in Marketing.
