Key Responsibilities

• :Instrument Engineering Support: Provide advanced instrument engineering support to projects, operations, and maintenance, contributing to the division’s strategy and goals
• .Equipment Management: Execute expert instrument engineering activities for proactive, optimal, and cost-effective management of critical instrumentation equipment
• .Integrity Program: Lead and support the implementation of integrity programs for instrumentation equipment to achieve high standards of safety, reliability, and availability
• .Best Practices: Define and document best practices within instrument engineering and execute performance improvement initiatives
• .Risk Assessment: Lead and support risk assessment and root cause analysis initiatives
• .Task Completion: Ensure effective completion of tasks and activities, meeting section and division KPIs
• .Supervision: Lead, support, and supervise activities undertaken by contractors, consultants, and service providers
• .Coaching: Coach less experienced engineers, helping them develop as professionals and implement company integrity and reliability systems
• .Training Programs: Develop and support training programs to keep abreast of new technologies and mentor less experienced engineers

.Requirements

• :Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering or a related field
• .Experience: Significant engineering experience in an oil and gas environment
• .Skills
• :Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• .Proficient with engineering software tools and specifications
• .Instrument Engineering Specialist level of competence
