Job Title: Lead of Cost Control
Project: Compression Project
Job Purpose
Provide expert advice on cost allocation, planning, and stewardship for the Compression Project. Develop and modify procedures to meet business requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop efficient cost services and provide expert advice on cost accounting and control.
- Review and evaluate cost plan data to ensure compliance with budget.
- Standardize cost and expenditure processes.
- Coordinate early expenditure profiles and funding plans.
- Provide funding packages (Advance Commitments, Full Funding, Supplementary Funding).
- Maintain a cost and man-hours database for estimating.
- Participate in governance activities as a Cost Subject Matter Expert.
- Provide project controls/change management advice and monthly cost reports.
- Estimate costs for potential change orders with the EPC Contractor.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent English, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; AACE certification preferred.
Experience:
8 years in cost allocation, estimation, planning, and expenditure in the oil and gas industry. Experience with SAP/BI environments preferred.
