About the role:
Responsible to prepare the seasonal and the day-to-day fixed resources allocation plan and in addition to conducting seasonal allocation plans and capacity reviews to support the utilization of the operational capacity and fixed resource management. Works across the MATAR divisions to maintain resource-relevant basic data and allocation rules across MATAR’s Flight Scheduling, Resource Management Systems and reporting tools. In addition, ensures proper airport traffic data reconciliation and provide traffic and performance analysis as required by MATAR.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducts seasonal and regular resource and capacity review studies for MATAR, by collecting flight schedules provided by QR Corporate Planning and Slot Coordination activities in order to analyze flight schedule patterns, expected demand vs. available capacity and fixed resources.
- Creates allocation plans for extraordinary operational conditions such as seasonal holiday traffic, special events airport works and facility impairments and communicates the plan with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
- Runs and maintains airport capacity and demand models and scenarios in regular intervals, or as dictated by operational needs to generate traffic forecast with an annual, seasonal and daily outlook.
- Provides to MATAR AOCC and MATAR’s stakeholders information and guidelines for the allocation of stands, gates and check-in counters.
- Collects and modifies flight schedules and the seasonal resource allocation plan to ensure accuracy and availability for day of operation stakeholders through the Slot Coordination activities and in direct contact with the operators.
- Applies in the Airport’s Resource management software applications, all Airport Stand Manual changes in order to ensure functional accuracy of the respective systems i.e. stand allocation hard rules, stand allocation soft rules, stand interchangeability, wingtip overlap constraints, cul-de-sac restrictions and physical and operational attributes.
- Ensures changes in Airport’s Resource management software applications relevant to fixed resources are in compliance with the relevant safety and physical parameters as described in AOM and SOM.
- Maintains flight records and airport traffic data in the airport traffic reconciliation systems i.e. FIPLAN applications, ensuring their completeness and accuracy at the flight level for passenger, cargo, mail, aircraft movements along with other attributes and traffic characteristics.
- Compiles and delivers analysis and reports relevant to airport traffic and operations performance using the available Reporting software applications to MATAR management, Airport Community and industry bodies as required.
- Participates in analytical interactions within Airport Operations, Finance, Commercial to support budgetary exercises and performance reviews.

- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
- Experience as a fixed resource allocation planning position.
- Excellent knowledge of resource allocation software modelling and use.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Knowledge and understanding of ICAO Annex 14.
