About The Role

We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our quickly growing Digital Enablement team as Senior Digital Quality Officer.

In this role, you will lead quality assurance and testing initiatives throughout digital product sprints to ensure the feature definition, development, and final digital product delivery meets the acceptance criteria outlined in user stories and features.

You Will Also

  • Have an understanding of product features and service delivery processes to define business acceptance criteria
  • Define and document the overall sprint testing plan, test cases, and data for user stories to enable acceptance criteria verification
  • Work closely with engineers to carry out testing at various phases of delivery such as unit and regression testing
  • Autonomously execute testing in various environments within the planned
  • Log quality issues to enable digital product teams to review, re-create scenarios, and resolve issues
  • Assess quality shortfalls and determine severity to prioritize fixes based on customer and business value
  • Collate and categorize defects by application and channel to coordinate remediation activities with relevant owners and service delivery teams
  • Track the progress and status of individual quality issues to establish digital product health
  • Identify and document patterns that represent normal digital product usage and service delivery to improve resiliency by detecting anomalies
  • Maintain records of test cards and other test payment method usage to facilitate finance audits to prevent financial losses
  • Closely monitor the status of any production test transactions
  • Measure the quality of deliverables and provide feedback to the product owner to improve team output
  • Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a professional with the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with a minimum 4 years of job-related experience
  • In-depth understanding of airline sales marketing and distribution mechanisms
  • Solid knowledge of core airline systems and applications
  • Experience in incident triaging, investigation and resolution
  • Understanding software development life cycles (SDLC)
  • Experience in testing automations
  • Experience in customer service, customer experience or digital product quality assurance preferably in the travel industry
  • Knowledge of airline reservation systems
  • Understanding and experience in agile product development
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, analytical thinking skills
  • Solid understanding of software testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail.
