Qatar Airways are excited to be launching a new opportunity to join our Distribution & Ancillaries team as a Lead Ancillary Sales Officer – Qatari Nationals Only.

As a Lead Ancillary Sales Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Ancillary Services team with product development planning and project implementation across all QR sales channels. In addition, the role is also responsible for carrying out ancillary product’s day-to-day operations and enhancements to the current sales channel’s capabilities to generate incremental revenue and support commercial ancillary targets.

As Part Of Your Daily Responsibilities, You Will Also

  • Apply good understanding of principles & concepts of ancillary services processes and procedures in Qatar Airways, and ensure full and accurate information is shared within the team, addressing complicated queries where required.
  • Evaluate and analyze new ancillary products and innovative technologies that meet Qatar Airways Ancillary Strategy, including providing analysis, support and strategic insights.
  • Support in delivering the ancillary product project implementation, roadmap (all connection options), monitoring against internal and external SLAs, as and where required.
  • Provide proactive and constructive input to projects across commercial teams to maximize revenue.
  • Work closely with Ancillary partners and translate that cooperation to ancillary strategy and implementation.
  • Develop and enforce legal framework to ensure that new and existing partners align with Ancillary best practices and policies.
  • Cooperate with the Ancillary team on internal and external marketing tools to introduce products.

Qualifications

About You

A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:

  • High School Qualification or equivalent with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience
  • Excellent command of the English language – both written and spoken
  • A proven ability to work and negotiate within a multi-national and multi-cultural environment
  • Prior experience in managing fare products and incentive tools with trade partners
  • Excellent skills in MS Office
