An exciting opportunity for Planning Coordinator to work under Centralized Planning Department within Technical Division.
You will be working with one of the following sub sections: Production Planning, Fleet Planning, Aircraft Maintenance Programme and Technical Records. Organise and administer maintenance check work packages, maintenance checks follow up, compiling AMP amendments / updating TRAX under the guidance of Planning Engineer, update aircraft technical log data in TRAX, update aircraft/engines component transactions in TRAX, ensure aircraft records are archived and maintained in accordance with regulatory authority and company requirements.
Operational Accountabilities;
- This is a support function with no financial responsibility but coordinating any one of the below mentioned key areas ensuring smooth accomplishment of maintenance activities and aircraft releasing from maintenance within set time frames.
Production Planning
- Organise and administer checks work package issued to Line and Base Maintenance with the objective of meeting the set time frames and cost effective maintenance management.
- Ensuring compliance of work package requirements with optimum cost.
- Ensure availability of material, required downtime and manpower for scheduled work.
- Review completed work package for correct sign offs, completeness.
- Upload feedbacks, AD DFPs in computer systems.
Fleet Planning
- Prepare and issue work packages under the guidance of Planning Engineer to ensure availability of alternate aircrafts against aircraft grounded for maintenance.
- Ensure assigned work packages ready for review by Planning Engineer
- Develop plans to accomplish small campaign packages such as Database loading, SWC packages, etc.
- Ensure updated and current filing system is maintained for deferment, variations, base deferred defects.
- Report accomplishment of EO/ESWC to Engineering Development and Flight operations Engineering.
- Follow up required tooling and materials availability with materials Planner as requested by Planning Engineer.
Aircraft Maintenance Proqramme
- Compile AMP amendments and update TRAX under the guidance of Planning Engineer.
- Maintain respective filing system of technical data for AMP.
- Issue AMP amendments as instructed by Planning Engineer.
- Update TRAX based on AMP revisions by creating tasks and controls for review by Planning Engineer.
- Keep current filing system updated for all AMP amendment requests, reports, etc.
- Convert approved AMP to PDF format for review by Planning Engineer.
Technical Records
- Update aircraft technical log data in TRAX.
- Carry out component transactions for all aircraft/engines components replaced during operation.
- Archive aircraft records.
- Prepare aircraft records for CMR / ARC renewal inspections.
- Carry out review and validation process for document completeness and legibility in eDocs system.
- Prepare aircraft records for lease return which includes;
- Retrieval of repair documents for repair mapping.
- Review of component release tags.
- Compilation of aircraft records inventory.
- Update of Aircraft/Engine component transaction in TRAX.
- Update of PN Control for Hard Time/Life Limited Parts in TRAX.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification
- Certificate in Computer applications – Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
- Knowledge of Aviation regulations (Part 145, Part M).
- General knowledge of Aircraft/Engines systems.
- Good computer skill, proficient with MS Office.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
